Introduction
To build a solar power system, installation of electrical components must be calculated eg current, voltage, power, and load requirements. Below is an example of the power consumption from solar power.
Power | Type of Load | Examples of usage |
uW | Complex electronic devices with small power | calculator, pocket computers, watches |
mW | Type A : Equipment that is rarely used | Transmitter and receiver with a small capacity, LED Viewer |
Type B : Medium-power equipment, but rarely operated | alarm systems, radio pocket, children's toys, small battery charger and hand tools.
W | Type A : Medium-power equipment | Telecommunications equipment, water pumps, household appliances: lights, TV, fan, refrigerator and a store of goods |
Type B : Equipment with power requirements up to KW but rarely operated | Transmitter, housewares, lighting systems, water pumps.
kW | Central electric networks with large energy needs | farming tools, household appliances, rural electrification and water pumping installations. |
